Helping brands both inside and out, we use our design skills to plan spaces, custom signage, wayfinding systems, unique trade-show displays and exhibits. Working with architects, fabricators, contractors and interior designers, we collectively create immersive experiences that take a brand from the page or screen and into a physical, interactive environment.
EXPERIENCE A BRAND
Ric established Riordon Design in 1989 with his wife and design partner, Shirley. His passion for illustration, music, film and architecture has shaped the firm’s portfolio and client list. Ric is a professional member of the Art Directors Club New York, The Advertising & Design Club of Canada and the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD).
Shirley began her career in 1985 with a post-graduate degree in Fine Art and continued education at OCAD. She is an active member of RGD and is on the Humber Advisory Committee, giving back to the design community by judging in several industry awards, such as the Canadian Regional Design Awards (The Redgees) and Applied Arts Awards programs. Her reputation for perfection and attention to detail has shaped the very core of the company.
An honours graduate from Sheridan College, Alan has been with Riordon for 15 years. He is a founding member of the Communication Designers Association and his expertise in strategic consultation, brand identities, interactive and print design, along with a keen eye for typography has played a significant role in the success of Riordon.
Rachel joined Riordon nine years ago as an honours graduate from George Brown College. Her work has been featured in various international publications, including HOW Magazine and David E. Baker’s Big Book of Logos. Her passion for design and ability to see the big picture is an asset to our team and more importantly, our clients.
The newest member of the team, Matt joined Riordon as an honours graduate from Georgian College. His work has been recognized by RGD’s Social Good Design Awards as well as international design publication HOW Magazine. His passion and creativity has made him a key player on the Riordon team.
Erin has been with Riordon for 14 years and has a BA from the University of Toronto. She is an integral part of the studio’s day-to-day workings and is responsible for administration and account management.
